The Ernie Ball Music Man Axis is a straight ahead model, built to reliably deliver rock performance – a Basswood body with Maple cap, bolt on Maple neck, a pair of humbuckers, and a Floyd Rose double locking system are the core components.

Introduced in 1996, the Ernie Ball Music Man Axis has been a popular design. It does exactly what it’s designed to do, and very well. The combination of a Maple capped Basswood body and Maple bolt on neck provide excellent tone, with lots of warmth but also clarity and separation. The double locking trem system locks the strings at both the saddle and the nut, and once the guitar is set up and new strings are stretched in, tuning stability is unequalled.

For electronics, a pair of custom wound DiMarzio humbuckers pass though a pickup selector toggle and a master volume control to an output jack.
