Love a natural wood finish? This one is for you! For the Elite II, Ormsby went the exotic wood route and used some of the most premium pieces they could get our hands on. We’ve been waiting years to be able to use this particular Burl on a run, and due to its limited availability, this run of Hype GTR Elites is even more exclusive than our last. We opted for an African Mahogany body for its overall darker colouring which contrasts perfectly with the black binding and rare Karelian Birch Burl veneer which we’ve used on both the body and matching headstock. We’ve used a 5pce Flame Maple, Padauk and Wenge set neck topped with Birdseye Maple fretboard to set the tone for these awesome instruments. With the mix of materials used, each guitar is truly unique with its own individual markings. The Elite II comes with our favourite Blizzard and Concordia pickup combo, along with all the usual things you’d expect to find in our GTR range like our own custom hardware. The Hype GTR Elite II 7 string comes with a white Elite hardcase included.
